Horti ASIA 2015 and AGRI-Asia 2015 gained tremendous success of 160% growth, reaching over 8,000 visitors
Horti ASIA & AGRI-Asia 2015, the International Tradeshow forhorticultural & floricultural technologies, innovations and machinery of Asia was accomplished by March 17-19, 2015 at BITEC.The show was an absolute record breaking of more than 8,000 visitors especially from ASEAN countries; Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Myanmar.
Mrs. LaddaMongkolchai-vivat, General Manager of VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. revealed thatthe 4th edition of Horti ASIA, International Tradeshow for Horticultural and Floricultural Production and Processing Technology and the first edition of AGRI-Asia, the agricultural technology exhibition in Thailand, supportedby the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, covered a comprehensive range of agricultural, horticultural and floricultural industry. This year, we’ve received the great feedback from fellow exhibitors from more than 20 countries around the world, reaching 200 in number such as Netherlands, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, China and Thailand. These gained tremendous success of 166% growth compared to 2014 edition. In the meantime, this edition was record breaking of more than 8,000 visitors; agriculturists, horticulturists, academics, investorsand traders of agricultural materials, equipment and chemicals, as well as government officials. It was grown up to 160% compared the last year. Especially 800 foreign visitors from ASEAN countries; Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Myanmar were packed in the show.
The trade shows were fully success in agricultural technology and innovation; giant agricultural engineerings, greenhousing and fertilizing, international pavilions; Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Spain and China, internationial conferences from the leading organizations; Society of Automotive Engineer –Thailand, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangkok and the International Conference on Coconut Oil. Moreover there was more than 100 in business matching and generated a turnover of hundreds of millions baht throughout of the shows.
The success of Horti Asia and AGRI Asia 2015 in number of exhibitors and visitors have reinforced the position of Thailand as a ASEAN hub of technology and innovation in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture and machinery.
